Guatemala offers a vast amount of caves for your discovery and excitement. Most of them are located in the north east part of the country. You will find limestone caves with gorgeous rock formations to partly underwater caves among others.

Learn how the Mayan celebrated their rituals and even lived in some of them. We will explore them on foot and then by canoe.

The Guatemalan cave system is very impressive, it combines the Mayan culture with the natural beauty end even in some cases with spectacular wildlife, foe in stance in the Lanquin cave, where you will see thousands of bats flying out for their nightly hunt.

A three cave tour in the north eastern part of Guatemala, starting with the legendary" Rey San Marcos" cave where the Kechi Mayan held there religious rituals within the gorgeous rock formations.
The Lanquin cave is a spectacular limestone cave with a hidden river underneath.
At night You can see the thousands of bats flying out for their nightly hunts !!
A side trip to the crystals clear natural pools of Semuc Champey makes our journey to Lanquin complete.

The visit to the candelaria caves is the highlight of our tour, navigate on boats into the cave before continue by foot to explore this special cave in the tropical environment.
